Hi! My name is Missy Lee. I’m a self-taught baker, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve loved working in the kitchen, baking beautiful and delicious treats. As a kid, my bedroom walls were covered with wedding cake pictures I had torn out of magazines in hopes of one day becoming a chef or baker. 

After working for over a decade in banking, I decided to focus on my passions for baking and helping others. I volunteered at the Salvation Army for two years as a volunteer chef, making creative meals for their community dinners. Here, I gained experience working in a commercial kitchen.  During this time, I also traveled to Thailand on a humanitarian trip and had the opportunity to lead some baking classes. Since starting Missy Lee Cakes in 2018, I continue to give back to my community by volunteering at local food banks and donating cakes for nonprofit charities. Every day I’m thankful to be doing a job I love.
